Spamihilator's Plugins

Spamihilator is an excellent antispam program developed from Michael Krämer, which filters the undesired mails through a wide range of filters. The following plugins are two filters, which add further accuracy to the recognition identification process. You can download them for free, by the way donations (also 1$ is good) are welcome!

AIR Filter

This plugin allows to filter mails sent to too many addresses, which are very alike each other. This method, which could seem not very safe, shows to have an almost zero rate of false positive (that is to say mails recognized as spam, but they weren't at all). Considering that the plugin works on a small mail portion (therefore it is very fast) I recommend setting it to a very high execution priority.

Bad Tag Filter

Bad Tag Filter checks the correctness of html tags in the body of the mails, which have been received, to identify possible spam mails. Actually it is a quite widespread practice among spammer to include in the mail some html tags, which cannot be seen from the user and don't belong to the standard (or that are comments), to deceive the so-called Bayesian filters used by many antispam application. We recommend setting this plugin a fairly high priority, but lower than the one of the "Newsletter Filter" plugin to prevent that Bad Tag Filter erroneously classifies the newsletter as spam.
